This summer, The Vancouver Highlanders, Canada’s only professional rugby team, will kick off its first season of play with the inaugural Rugby Player’s Challenge Summer Series. This five-match series will bring professional rugby to Vancouver as they take on national teams from Europe, South America, and the Caribbean, along with Rugby Canada national squads.

The Rugby Player’s Challenge Summer Series begins on Friday, June 28th when the Highlanders play a double header against the Canada Selects and the Barbados National Team. On July 20th, they will face Germany, with Brazil next up for the challenge on August 3rd. The series will close out on August 17th with the arrival of the Canada XV national team.

Drawing from a talented pool of Canadians and international players, the Vancouver Highlanders are providing a unique experience to not only grow the game but offer an alternative route for players to aspire to as they develop their off field professional careers while staying in the sport they love.
